Monthly workshops to learn independent living skills - different topics every month!
Topic: Internet Safety
Join us for our Life Skills Workshop, and we’re kicking things off with a lesson about Internet Safety! During the workshop, we’ll cover lessons, activities, and group discussions on how to stay safe online, use social media responsibly, and navigate the digital world with more confidence. This workshop is fun, social, and engaging, all while building real-world skills alongside peers.
When: Saturday, August 30, 5:30–7:30PM

Details about the monthly workshops:
For ages 17+
New workshop every month — each month we’ll cover a different real-life topic including topics like budgeting, internet safety. We’re building this program around what our members want to learn, including topics like grocery shopping, money management, social media boundaries, and even dating topics.
Only available to weekly group members (you must be enrolled in our weekly groups to attend these workshops)
This workshop is placement-based — these workshops are designed for members who are more independent and ready for advanced skills. We’ll let you know if it’s not the right fit, and we’ll suggest other life skills support options instead.

About our Member-Only Events:
Some of our monthly events are just for our weekly members (those who participate in our weekly groups) and not open to the general public. We love giving our weekly members extra opportunities to connect with people from different social groups, creating new friendships beyond their regular sessions!
